Department of Management organized an industrial visit to Anmol Industries, Greater Noida on April 5th, 2019. Anmol Industries is at 5th position in Indian ranking among biscuits brand. The objective of the visit was to give exposure of production process of a FMCG product to BBA students. Mr. Bharadwaj (Assistant-HR) addressed students and made a detailed presentation on company history, production, distribution and marketing activities.
Students learned about challenges and opportunities of a manufacturing unit especially the one dealing in product having a specified shelf life. Students were taken around the plant and explained about the production and operation process of Anmol Industries. They received the in-depth knowledge on different department and functions of manufacturing units. They also shared feedback with the representative which was much appreciated.
Overall, the visit was enlightening and students gained in term of operational and management skills required in manufacturing process in the company. The visit was successfully conducted by Dr. Ashutosh Mishra, Head, Department of Management among other faculty member.
